We love to share real weddings, styled shoots, civil unions, rehearsal dinners & wedding DIY projects with our readers. To make sure that we continue to bring our readers the best in weddings we are looking for submissions that have not been seen on other blogs, sites or magazines. All submissions will need to have the permission of the photographer to feature the images. Brian Tropiano Weddings is an “exclusive content” site, once your feature has been accepted for publication on Brian Tropiano Weddings we ask for a 60 day window of exclusivity from your publication date before you submit to another blog or magazine.
We are always looking for:
- Creative camp, backyard, vintage & barn style real weddings & inspiration shoots.
- Fun DIY projects to share.
- Unique rehearsal dinners, bridal showers or engagement parties.
How To Submit?
TO SUBMIT A WEDDING: To submit a wedding to Brian Tropiano Weddings please submit your photos to us, this is our preferred method of submission.
TO SUBMIT A PROJECT: To submit a DIY project please send an email to helen {at} briantropianoweddings.com with your project images, instructions and material list. If you have featured this project on your site or blog please include a link. If you did not take the pictures yourself please include the name and contact info of the photographer.
How Many Images To Send?
We love to have options to pick from so please send between 30-50 images for real weddings & inspiration shoots and 15-20 images for a project. All images should be free of watermarks.
Where Do I Send The Images?
As stated above you can send them to us at helen {at}briantropianoweddings.com with Submission in the subject line or you can send them using which is our preferred method. If you are sending by email please send either a zipfile or a link through You Send It or Dropbox.
What Size Image Should I Send?
Please send images that are 650 pixels across and please remove all watermarks.
What Should Be Included In A Submission?
We really like to know the story and inspiration behind the the wedding, shoot or project. A vendor list should be included with links to the vendors and of course we need permission from the photographer. If you are a bride or vendor submitting please “cc” the photographer on the submission email so we can contact them for consent.
How Long Does It Take To Hear About Being Featured?
We are thrilled to receive so many wonderful submissions but with that said it also takes an overwhelming number of hours to go through the hundreds of submissions we get each week. We work really hard to respond within 3 weeks of receiving a submission. If the submission was sent via email you will receive an email back with our decision on the submission and if it was submitted you will hear back from the communication emails.
What Does It Mean That Your Blog Is “Exclusive”?
To continue to bring our readers the very best in weddings we only like to feature real weddings & inspiration shoots that have not and will not be featured on other wedding blogs. We ask that you allow us to have the exclusive rights to the publication for 60 days from the time of publication on Brian Tropiano Weddings. We do understand that photographers have the right to feature their work on their own blog and we are 100% okay with that. We ask that you do not submit your wedding or shoot to any other wedding blog if you would like to be considered for a feature. DIY projects are not “exclusive” unless otherwise noted.
